What we do to be more Sustainable
Sustainability through our services
Our business is building bespoke event and exhibition stands, which can sometimes be an unsustainable activity. When we get the designs for an exhibition stand or Event, it is already too late to fundamentally make it more sustainable, that is why we are focused on having a dialogue with our customers about how to make their event, exhibition stand or activation more sustainable in the design phase. This includes improving the design to reduce waste, providing options for more sustainable materials and ensuring there is a proper plan for the lifecycle of every item that is purchased or made.
Responsible material usage and waste
Our approach to responsible material use has three levels, the first is to use lower impact materials, for example FSC certified wood or recycled plastics. Second is to focus on efficient use of materials, this means calculating what we need, trying to get the most out of every sheet of wood, and also reusing materials and offcuts for new projects.
Health and Safety
Our aim is to have zero recordable injuries in our workshop and while on-site. This means meeting all applicable health and safety regulations, while building a health and safety culture that reduces the risk of serious injury and long-term negative health impacts. All employees, contractors and clients are encouraged to raise health and safety concerns which can then be addressed in a collaborative manner.
Local Community
We want to be a positive and active member of the local community - with our workshop being recognised as a hub of creativity that contributes positively to society by attracting, training and retaining creative local talent and providing them with an enriching and engaging environment for them to contribute, learn and grow professionally and personally.
